Aavani Chathurthi, also known as Sankashti Chaturthi, is a significant Hindu festival celebrated in honor of Lord Ganesha. It falls on the fourth day (Chaturthi) of the waxing moon period (Shukla Paksha) in the Hindu month of Aavani (August-September). This auspicious day holds immense importance among devotees of Lord Ganesha, who believe that observing rituals on this day brings prosperity, success, and removes obstacles from their lives.
