VAIKASI VISAKAM

Vaikasi Visakam is a Hindu festival primarily celebrated in Tamil Nadu to commemorate the birth of Lord Murugan, also known as Kartikeya, the warrior god. It falls on the day when the moon transits the Vishakha nakshatra (constellation) during the Vaikasi month of the Tamil calendar, which corresponds to mid-May to mid-June.
