AAVANI MOOLAM

Aavani Moolam is a Hindu festival primarily dedicated to Lord Shiva, held annually in the Tamil month of Aavani (usually September-October). It’s particularly significant at the Madurai Meenakshi Temple, where special processions and rituals commemorate a notable event involving Lord Shiva. The festival also has a connection to the Moola nakshatra, which is associated with Hanuman, and certain letters are believed to bring good fortune if used in baby names.
