Saturdays during the Tamil month of Purattasi are considered an auspicious time for the worship of Lord Shani (Saturn) and the Navagrahas. Devotees offer prayers and participate in special rituals seeking blessings, protection, and relief from the adverse effects traditionally associated with Saturn.

In 2026, there are five Saturdays during the Tamil month of Purattasi. Special Homam, Abishakam and Poojas will be performed for Lord Shani and the other Navagrahas on these Saturdays.

🍚 Annathanam will be served following the Poojas.

🥛 Milk Offering for Abishakam

Devotees wishing to offer milk for the Abishakam of Lord Shani will be able to purchase a pot of milk at the Temple during the Abishakam.

All devotees are warmly invited to participate in the special Homam, Abishakam and Poojas and receive the blessings of Lord Shani and the Navagrahas.
