Vijaya Dashami, also known as Dussehra, is a major Hindu festival celebrated at the end of Navaratri, on the tenth day (Dashami) of the Ashwin month in the Hindu lunar calendar (usually in September or October).

Event 1 -Vijayādaśamī (விஜயதசமி)
Date- Thursday 2 October 2025

Morning Poojas
9am Regular morning Pooja.
•8:00am to 12:00pm Vidyarambam (ஏடு தொடக்கல்)

Evening Poojas
•6:00pm Regular Pooja
•6:30pm to 7.00pm cultural program
•7:00pm Vasantha Mandapa Pooja and Lord Murugan procession. Followed by Māṉampū (cutting of the Bannan tree – வாழை வெட்டு).

Event 2 on Thursday 2 October 2025

Kethara Gowri Pooja beginning:(கேதார கொளரி பூசை ஆரம்பம்)
8:00pm Kethara Gowri Pooja (கேதார கொளரி பூசை), followed by annathanam.
